& SHORTCUTS
TO REMOVE WATER LINE INSERT, PRY A SMALL
SCREWDRIVER BETWEEN RUBBER AND THE INSERT, BREAKING THE INSERT
THEN REMOVING IT WITH NEEDLE NOSE PLIERS. USING SMALL
SCREWDRIVER AROUND OUTSIDE OF WATER HOSE TO LOOSEN IT FROM
BELL HOUSING AND PUSH IT BACK. BE
CAREFUL DO NOT PUNCH A HOLE IN HOSE!
REMOVING SIDE PIVOT PINS
REMOVE SIDE ELECTRONIC SENDING UNITS.
THEN REMOVE ALL BELLOWS COMPLETELY. USING A HAND TORCH HEAT
UP BELL HOUSING WHERE PIN IS THREADED IN, THIS WILL LOOSEN THE
RED LOCK TIGHT SO YOU WILL NOT RIP OUT THREADS WHEN YOU BACK
OUT THE PIVOT PIN.
CUT THE DRIVE LUBE OIL LINE IN HALF, THEN
ONCE BELL HOUSING IS OUT, REMOVE PLASTIC CLAMPS FROM LINE.
THEN CUT HOSE SIDEWAYS. THEN PULL OFF HOSE.
YOU DO NOT WANT TO BREAK THE PLASTIC HOSE BARB ON BULK
HEAD FITTING GOING THRU TO THE RESERVOIR INSIDE OF ENGINE
COMPARTMENT.
