This U-bolt exceeds OEM strength by over 6,000 pounds of tensile strength. The U-bolt is made of 17-4 stainless steel. The nylon insert lock nuts are made of 3-16 stainless. The U-Bolt kit fits Bravo 1 Gimbal Rings and is an ideal upgrade for heavier boats and those running high horsepower engines. This upgrade will help to eliminate gimbal ring and swivel shaft failure in your Bravo outdrive. Replaces Mercury part numbers 10-805164 (U-bolt) and 11-862903 (3/8-24 Nuts).
